Shuhua “Steve” Zheng, DO, PhD, is a radiation oncologist with University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center who sees patients for neuro-oncology. He joined UH Seidman Cancer Center in August 2026. Dr. Zheng is passionate about radiation oncology research, including expanding the use of AI and machine learning for patient selection and developing mechanism-based radiation sensitizers. His research for advancing the use of radiation oncology techniques in the treatment of brain tumors and other types of cancer has appeared in various peer-reviewed medical journals. Among other honors and awards, Dr. Zheng is the recipient of the ASCO-Young Investigator Award in Primary Brain Tumors, 2024.
